Candle Care Tips

How do I get rid of the soot on my vessel?

The easiest way to prevent soot is trimming your wick properly. Whenever your are dealing with fire , soot can commonly accumulate in the glass, this is totally normal. However, it is super easy to clean! After your candle has solidified take a damp paper towel and wipe the perimeter of the glass.

Please be sure to follow these tips to properly care for your candle.

Trim your wick to 1/4" before each and every burn. This ensures that the flame does not smoke, flicker too much or rise too high.

For wooden wicks, simply pinch burned excess off with fingers after extinguishing.Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets.

DO NOT burn for more than 3-4 hours at a time.

DO NOT touch or move a candle while burning.

DO NOT leave your candle burning unattended.

Be sure that you place your candle on a stable and heat resistance surface.
When candle has less than 1/2 of wax left the candle has finished. DO NOT continue to burn. Failure to do so may cause vessel to shatter or crack.

Allow wax to melt on all sides of vessel to ensure better performance for next burn.

Avoid drafts, vents or air currents. This will help prevent sooting & uneven burning.

Candle must be placed on flat, flame retardant and uncluttered surfaces.

If burning more than 1 candle place them 3" apart.

Please remember our candles are hand poured, & although every effort is made to ensure consistency, every candle will be a little different.
